EDUCATION

Empowering Minds, Changing Futures

At Girls for Change Initiative, we believe education is the foundation for lasting change. Our Education Project is committed to breaking barriers and creating opportunities for underprivileged children across Liberia. Through this project, we provide scholarships to deserving students and distribute essential school materials—including books, uniforms, and supplies—across multiple counties. By investing in education, we aim to reduce dropout rates, promote gender equality in schools, and empower the next generation of leaders. Every scholarship awarded and every school kit distributed is a step toward a brighter, more inclusive future for Liberia.

self Awareness Project

Building Confidence, Inspiring Purpose

The Self-Awareness Project under Girls for Change Initiative is designed to help girls and young women discover their true potential. Through workshops, mentorship sessions, and personal development activities, we empower participants to build confidence, set goals, and understand their value in society.

This project focuses on nurturing emotional intelligence, leadership skills, and a strong sense of identity—enabling girls to make informed decisions, stand against negative influences, and lead purposeful lives. We believe that when young women know who they are, they can become powerful agents of change in their communities.

Advocacy Projects

Raising Voices, Driving Change

At Girls for Change Initiative, our Advocacy Projects focus on creating awareness and inspiring action around critical issues affecting girls and young women in Liberia. We recently led impactful advocacy programs on Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA), engaging communities, schools, and local leaders to promote protection, accountability, and prevention.

Our goal is to give girls a platform to speak up, be heard, and demand change. We are committed to expanding our advocacy efforts to cover a wide range of topics—from gender equality and mental health to reproductive rights and youth empowerment—ensuring that no voice is left behind.
